BRACKETR.GG LEGAL

Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of Bracketr.gg, including accounts, competitions, team and organisation tools, broadcasts and connected services.

Effective 25 July 2026

Agreement

By accessing or using Bracketr.gg, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you must have that consent before using Bracketr.

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade restrictions.

2. The Bracketr service

Bracketr provides tools for esports competitions, registrations, brackets, ladders, rankings, teams, organisations, player profiles, applications, broadcasts and related community activities. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Competition organisers may establish additional rules. Where those rules conflict with these Terms, these Terms govern use of the platform, while the organiser’s published rules govern competition participation unless unlawful.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Break applicable law, infringe rights, harass others, or submit hateful, sexually exploitative, fraudulent or otherwise harmful material.
  • Cheat, manipulate results or rankings, submit false eligibility information, collude, impersonate participants or interfere with fair competition.
  • Probe, disrupt or bypass security; introduce malware; scrape at unreasonable rates; misuse APIs; or interfere with other users or service infrastructure.
  • Access information or accounts without permission, collect personal information improperly, or disclose private competition or account information.
  • Use Bracketr branding or content in a way that falsely suggests endorsement.

4. User content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Bracketr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the service and relevant competitions.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for submitted names, logos, images, streams, replays and other material. We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, platform policy or law.

5. Competitions, decisions and prizes

Schedules, eligibility, formats, scores, rulings and prizes may be managed by independent organisations using Bracketr. Those organisations are responsible for their competition rules and commitments. Bracketr may correct platform or data errors, but is not responsible for an organiser’s decisions, conduct, prize fulfilment or event cancellation unless Bracketr is expressly identified as the organiser.

Attempts to exploit bugs, manipulate brackets or gain an unfair advantage may result in disqualification or account restrictions.

6. Connected and third-party services

You may choose to connect services such as Google/YouTube, Twitch, Discord, Microsoft, Steam, Epic Games or Kick. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms and policies. Bracketr is not responsible for third-party availability, content or actions.

When using a YouTube connection, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can revoke Google permissions through your Google Account connections.

7. Intellectual property

Bracketr’s software, design, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to Bracketr and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for normal use of the service, these Terms do not grant you rights to copy, sell, reverse engineer or create derivative works from protected Bracketr materials.

Third-party game names, trademarks and content belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Bracketr at any time. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address rule violations, security risks, legal requirements, harmful conduct or prolonged service inactivity. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal through our contact page.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bracketr is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees, rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bracketr and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of data, third-party conduct, competition outcomes or events beyond reasonable control. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by law.

10. Changes, governing law and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal or operational changes. The effective date will be updated, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and applicable Australian federal law. Courts with jurisdiction in Western Australia will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under mandatory local law.

Questions or notices can be sent through the Bracketr contact page.
